Cubing Encoded

By Kevin Lee, UC Berkeley Haas ‘25

In sixth grade, Kevin Lee solved a Rubik's Cube for the very first time and was instantly hooked. The next few months, he would practice for hours a day - dropping his personal best from 5 minutes to 30 seconds. Looking for an outlet to share this newfound passion, Kevin launched the YouTube channel Cubing Encoded, where he would begin posting Rubik's Cube content weekly.

Over the next few years, Kevin would learn a multitude of skills through YouTube - such as personal branding, video editing, graphic design, SEO strategy, and CTR strategy. He also partners with companies like Plarium Games, Rubik's Brand LTD, NordVPN, Dashlane, and Skillshare.

Today, Cubing Encoded has 200,000+ subscribers and 40,000,000+ views on YouTube. YouTube also officially verifies the channel, a distinction exclusive to channels with 100,000+ subscribers.
