Kate Ye began her small business ‘A Drop of Dew Jewelry’ in June 2020 in the midst of quarantine. She wanted to dive into her creative interior and handcraft something beautiful that would distract her from the world around her. Revisiting her favourite Studio Ghibli films and entering their timeless world of simplicity, excitement, and wonder inspired her to begin designing and creating the jewelry of her favourite childhood characters. She also designs pressed flower jewelry, featuring sterling silver accents and flora from her backyard. Her pieces are minimalistic and classy, meant to be worn every day, and can be used to carry a small piece of your childhood along with you everywhere you go.
